TradingView

The short version: It is a free website for looking at charts. The free tier is enough. You do not need to pay.

What it is

TradingView shows you price charts for almost anything, crypto, oil, stocks. It is the tool most of this industry looks at, including Atlas.

You can use it without an account. Make a free account anyway, so your charts save.

How to see what Atlas is reading

In the search box, type the market you want. You will see a long list of results with different names after them. Those are different places where the same thing trades, and their prices are slightly different.

That difference is normal and it is small. Do not let it worry you. But do notice which one you are looking at, because a number that does not match Atlas usually means you are on a different one, not that something is broken.

Every market Atlas covers, and every call it has made, is on the record.

The only three things to learn here

Timeframe. Somewhere near the top there is a row like 15m, 1h, 4h, 1D. That is how much time each mark on the chart covers. One hour, one day. Change it and the same market looks completely different. Nothing has changed except how far back you are standing.

Zoom and scroll. Drag left to go back in time. That is it.

Price on the right. The numbers on the right edge are the price. The line at the current price is where it is right now.

Everything else on that screen, the drawing tools, the indicators, the colored lines, you can ignore for months. Most people turn all of it on in week one and understand none of it.

What not to do here

Do not add indicators because they look serious. An indicator is a calculation drawn on top of price. Every one of them is made from the same price you are already looking at. None of them knows the future.

The free tier limits how many you can add at once. Treat that limit as a favor.
