Staying safe

The short version: In this industry you are your own security desk. There is no fraud department and no chargeback. Read this page twice.

The two settings that matter most

Turn on two-factor authentication, using an app. Not text messages.

Phone-number security can be defeated by someone convincing your phone company to move your number to their SIM. It happens, it is targeted, and crypto holders are the target. An authenticator app on your device cannot be moved this way.

Turn on withdrawal allowlists if your exchange offers them. That means money can only leave to addresses you approved in advance, usually with a delay. If someone gets in, they still cannot get anything out.

Recovery phrases

If you ever hold crypto yourself, you get a list of words. That list is the money.

  • Never type it into anything. Not a website, not a phone note, not a photo, not a password manager, not a chat.
  • Write it on paper. Keep it somewhere a fire or a flood would not take.
  • Nobody legitimate will ever ask you for it. Not support. Not a wallet app. Not Rashad. Not anyone. There is no situation where someone needs it to help you. Anyone asking is stealing.

The scams that specifically hunt new people

Fake support. You post a problem publicly. Within minutes someone messages "offering help." Real support does not slide into your DMs. Ever.

Impersonation. As accounts grow, people clone them, same photo, same name, one character different, and message that account's followers. Rashad Global will never DM you about an investment, never ask you to send funds anywhere, and never ask for a recovery phrase or a password. If a message claims to be him and involves money, it is not.

Guaranteed returns. Anyone promising a fixed percentage, a doubling, or "risk-free" anything is running a scam. There are no exceptions to this and there never have been.

The slow one. Someone builds a friendship or a romance over weeks. They are patient and warm. Eventually there is a platform they use, and it works, small withdrawals go through perfectly. Then the amount gets larger and everything stops. This is the most effective scam operating right now, and the people running it are professionals with scripts. Warmth is not evidence of honesty.

Recovery scams. After someone is scammed, a second person appears offering to recover the lost funds for a fee. This is the same industry taking a second bite. Nobody can recover it.

The rule that covers everything

Urgency is the tell. Every scam needs you to move fast, a window closing, a price about to run, a limited spot.

Nothing real requires you to decide in the next ten minutes. Nothing. Slowing down costs you nothing and defeats almost all of it.
